Membership of GC Creative Events Inc offers numerous benefits to creatives including opportunities for collaboration, skill development, and increased visibility. Members benefit from peer support, shared knowledge, and access to a diverse network of artists and potential audiences. Members also have exclusive access to group exhibitions, workshops and projects, and a supportive community with diverse skill sets, including grant writing, arts administration and accounting.

Foster a Vibrant Diverse Artistic Community

  1. Respond to the diverse needs of artists and cultural workers by supporting professional development and opportunities to connect, learn and share.

  2. Provide resources and support for artists to develop their skills and talents.

  3. Support and celebrate artistic innovation, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the creative sector.

Wellbeing

  1. Engage the community through creative projects and initiatives that promote health, well-being, and innovation. Strengthen the role of creativity as a tool for social change and addressing community needs.

  2. Amplify cultural and creative practice, product and experiences in local communities through the development of programs and the attainment of relevant grants and or funds.

Advocate for the Arts

  1. Advocate for the arts and cultural heritage sector at local, state, and national levels.

  2. Support initiatives that build capacity and economic sustainability culture and the arts across Southern Queensland regional communities.

  3. Partner with other sectors, organisations and volunteers to provide participatory creative activities, skills development, and resourcing for vibrant creative ecologies.
