CALL FOR ARTISTS!
South East Queensland artists are invited to submit Expressions of Interest for FREEDOM: Revolution JOY!—a curated group exhibition and movement exploring the emotional, psychological, and personal landscapes of confinement, survival, and liberation.
Presented by GC Creative Events Inc., this project bridges a provocative visual arts showcase with an electrifying, all-female winter dance revolution. Together, these dual elements confront the invisible prisons of domestic violence and coercive control, transforming movement and visual expression into acts of resistance, autonomy, and collective strength.
Key Information:
Who Can Apply: Open to all emerging, established, and collaborative artists residing in South East Queensland.
Eligible Mediums: Painting, sculpture, photography, digital art, ceramics, textiles, video, dance, audio, installation, and more (up to 2m³).
Cost: Free to submit an EOI. If selected, a $35 exhibition fee applies (includes annual GC Creative Events Inc. membership; existing members receive a discounted rate).
Sales: 15% commission on works sold.

Final Submissions Due: 10 January 2027
Exhibition Dates: 21 May – 30 May 2027 (TBC)
Dance Celebration: 29 May or 5 June 2027 (TBC)
